The all-new Mahindra Thar has been in the headlines of many auto magazines since its official launch in India. Quite a few reviews, off-road videos on the new SUV have been released on the Internet; nevertheless, most of them are about LX trims, which are the higher-spec, more well-equipped and more comfortable. Below is a video which shows an entry-level diesel AX variant in details. Firstly, let’s have a look at the video.

The video has been uploaded by AutoTrend TV on their Youtube channel. At the beginning of the video, the exterior of the SUV is shown. Not many numerous alterations have been done to the exterior of the Thar. The front comes with the same grille with round headlights and turn indicators. Several features which are absent in the AX trim include DRLs, fog lights and dual-tone front bumper.

On the side profile, one of the most outstanding features is the white-coloured steel wheels. Compared to those on the higher LX variants, the AX ones come with smaller 16-inch units. These wheels are good for off-road travelling. The side step and wheel arches come with black cladding, which lends the SUV a robust appearance. In the AX trim, the hardtop is absent; in its place is a soft top which is of good quality but cannot be taken off as in a convertible version. In the rear, the SUV comes with LED taillights and a spare wheel.
