From the video, we can have a closer look at the fourth-gen Jeep Wrangler. At the very first look, it can be pointed out that the Jeep Wrangler features a restyled exterior with a beefed-up styling. Even though the Wrangler retains the iconic seven-vertically-slat grille and boxy silhouette on the front, it now comes with a chunkier bumper and new round LED headlights with integrated DRLs. LED lights are also applied on the fender and bumper.
New-gen Jeep Wrangler gets not only a redesigned exterior but also an extensively updated interior. On the inside, the Jeep Wrangler features a refreshed dashboard that sports an 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as an instrument cluster with digital MID. Besides, to make the interior look plush and premium, new-gen Jeep Wrangler also gets leather upholstery. Other highlight features of this new-gen model include push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, and cruise control. Safety fitments on the new Jeep Wrangler include ABS with EBD, 8 airbags, rear parking sensor, ESP, a rearview camera, and traction control.

Both of these functions can be easily controlled via buttons and switches on the centre console. Sitting on 18-inch wheels and employing a 4WD system, Jeep Wrangler shows a distinguished off-road capability. Especially, the new Wrangler is equipped with 4WD high, 4WD low mode and a newly-added 4WD auto mode. Other specs that could tell something about its off-roader ability include a 41.8-degree approach angle, 21-degree breakover angle, 36.1-degrees departure as well as a water wading capacity of 762 mm and a ground clearance of 215 mm.
About the powertrain, customers have no choice but to get a petrol-automatic combination. No diesel option is on offer. The fourth-gen Jeep Wrangler is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which can put out a maximum power of 268 PS and a torque of 400 Nm. It is the same engine from the previous model but with higher power output. This engine comes with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox.
In India, Jeep Wrangler is available in Unlimited variant only
When arrived India market, Jeep Wrangler comes exclusively in the form of a five-door model. Only the top-spec Unlimited variant is available on sale in India. It should be noted that the Jeep Wrangler is imported via the CBU channel (completely built unit), which means that the price of the Wrangle is approximately two times higher than the original price.
