The old-gen Hyundai Creta used to be one of the most popular compact SUVs offered in the Indian market, outselling competitors like Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster and S-Cross. But, after the arrival of Kia Seltos, the Hyundai SUV lost its best-seller crown, but now, with the introduction of the new-gen model, the automaker has gained back its lost foothold. The first-gen Hyundai Creta you see here has been tuned by a New Delhi based custom garage named as ‘GT TunerZ’. This model derives power from a 1.6-litre, four-pot turbo diesel mill. The stock model puts out power and torque outputs of 126bhp and 265 Nm. To enhance the power output, the SUV has been upgraded with K&N air filter and a Stage 1 Quantum ECU tine. With the aftermarket equipment, this Hyundai Creta now shreds out 160bhp of peak power and 325 Nm of torque. To handle the added power output, the wheels of the SUV have also been upgraded. It rides on 18-inch Rizo alloy wheels with 245/45 Dunlop Sport Maxx Tyres.

The SUV also employs aftermarket projector headlamps, which enhances the front look of the car. This customization job is pretty impressive, and it’ll definitely attract the interest of diesel-heads out there. One should note that the older 1.6-litre diesel unit was more potent than the ongoing new-gen model’s oil burner. The previous-gen Hyundai Creta was also propelled by a 1.4-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol mill. The former puts out power and torque outputs of 89bhp and 220 Nm, while the latter develops 121bhp and 151 Nm. Both the engine options come paired with a 6-speed MT or an optional 6-speed automatic transmission.
