The Kia Sonet has been rather quick to outsell well-established models like the Hyundai Venue and the Maruti Vitara Brezza
Kia Motors India recently launched its all-new sub-4-meter SUV named as Sonet in our market. It rivals with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Kia Sonet is doing quite well in terms of overall sales. Customizers around the country have also started modifying the all-new Kia SUV as per their preference. Here are a few images of the SUV, where one can see the car wearing aftermarket alloy wheels.
These pictures are uploaded on a Facebook group named as Kia Sonet Club India. The stock model of the car is offered with sporty-looking 16-inch alloy wheels. The Kia Sonet you see here gets 18-inch, silver-finished, multi-spoke alloy wheels. The alloy wheels look quite big and have enhanced the overall stance of the SUV. Upfront, the brake callipers are coloured in lemon green colour shade, which gives a funky look to the SUV. The design of these 18-inch mags is gelling up well with the aggressive look of the SUV. Other than this, no customization has been done on the SUV.
Talking about Kia Sonet, it is powered by 1.2-litre gasoline and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. The former puts out 83 PS of power and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the latter is offered in two states of tune and it develops 110/115 PS and 240/250 Nm of torque. The petrol engine comes paired with a 5-speed MT and the diesel unit comes mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed MT. The SUV is also offered with a smaller 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor that produces power and torque outputs of 120 PS and 172 Nm. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed iMT or 6-speed DCT. It is offered at a starting price of Rs 6.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the entry-level THE variant and goes all the way up to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec GTX Plus variant.
