Ford India MD and Endeavour Owners Sing Together to Thank Frontline Workers

In tough times like these, when the nation needs to fight together to deal with a common issue, a group of Ford Endeavour owners have come up with something really interesting. These owners are a part of a club named ‘Beast Crew’. The group has come forward with a song dedicated to the frontline workers of our country. The lyrics for the song goes as, "This dark time shall pass & we will come out shining bright. We are in this together, don't worry be happy”. In the video, Mr Anurag Mehrotra, MD, Ford India can also be seen singing along the customers. He claimed, “Presenting an inspiring effort led by a few of our Ford customers. Proud to be a part of the effort & to share it with the rest of the Ford family”.

The Beast Crew club is based out of Bangalore and involves participation from some of the craziest modified Endeavours of the country. One of them was recently featured on our portal as well. The Ford Endeavour is the flagship offering of the American carmaker in India.  It has been recently updated with a new BS-6 compliant 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The oil burner is capable of belting out a peak power output of 170 PS and a max. torque of 420 Nm. It comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. However, the 4wd variant comes equipped with a low-range transfer case as well. The Endeavour comes with capable hardware as well to excel off the road. It features double wishbones with coil springs and anti-roll bar at the front and a rigid axle with coil springs and anti-roll bar at the rear. The Endeavour is underpinned by a ladder frame chassis that sits 225mm above the ground.

Endeavour is a big SUV by all means. It measures 4,903 mm in length, 1,869 mm in width, and 1,837 mm in height. It also boasts of a long wheelbase of 2,850 mm to offer ample space on the inside. To keep the occupants in sheer comfort, it comes loaded to the gills. It offers the convenience of automatic headlamps, auto-dimming IRVM, 6-airbags, panoramic sunroof, terrain management system, auto-park assist, 8.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and more.
