Most owners think the stock grille for the 2020 Mahindra Thar doesn't look right, so they go and buy the aftermarket classic 7-slot version mostly. Now, Bimbra 4x4 have come up with a new bumper to complete the look.

The all-new Mahindra Thar has been welcomed with an overwhelmingly positive response since its launch this year. Waiting periods currently stretch to 7 months, and you can’t book a new one till May 2021. Mahindra is ramping up production by 50% from January, but even then the waiting periods will be lengthy. The new Thar comes a decade after its predecessor, and the old one has become a legend among the off-roading community. The new one is aimed at being just as good off-road but also brings in newfound capabilities on the road and as a daily driver. Bimbra 4x4, one of the most well-known aftermarket parts brands for the old Thar, has come up with these new accessories for the 2020 Thar.

As you can see in the pictures that have been uploaded by Taran Bimbra over on Facebook, the new 2020 Mahindra Thar gets a front bumper that is heavily inspired by the Jeep Wrangler. Though this particular bumper is made from steel, the production version will come with a FRP construction to meet pedestrian crash safety norms. Paired with the classic 7-slot jeep grille it looks arguably better. The factory grille for the new Thar always looked like as if Mahindra knew it would be binned, but they had to use it so they wouldn't be sued for copyright infringement. A new flush-fitting LED bar mounting can be seen in this Thar as well. It is a direct bolt-on accessory, meaning no alterations required and can fit multiple lights or one 50-inch LED bar. Other accessories in this Thar include new LED headlamps, bolt-on metal side steps, rear tow hook, a CB radio, Bimbra Line-X hardtop and other parts, front and rear armrest, and metal skid plates. The stock tyres have been replaced with BF GOODRICH 265/60 R18 tyres. This particular Thar looks quite tasteful and the new bumper and grille gives the front-end a completely different image.
