This Tata Nexon looks even more stylish with custom tyre stickers in place. The stickers make this Nexon look like it's riding on a set of bigger alloy wheels.

Tata Nexon is one of the more stylish SUVs that are on sale in the lower segnents of our country's car market. However, the pre-facelift version, in spite of its coupe-like roofline, looked rather bubbly. True, overall, the car looked great and came equipped with a set of 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels from the factory. However, the 16-inchers looked a tad bit small on the Nexon. A size bigger or two would, however, have been a decent fit on the company's Maruti Vitara Brezza-rival. Sadly, the cost of aftermarket alloy wheels is not all that low and not every owner wants to splurge on a bigger set of footwear. However here's a cheaper and viable alternative that helps the car look better without opting for bigger rims. Recently, we came across a video from Mohit Malik on his YouTube channel, where he can be seen installing tyre stickers on his Nexon.

In the video, the owner of the Nexon explains how he ordered these custom tyres stickers from Tyre Decor. Also, he explains the process of installing these stickers on the Nexon's tyres. He first jacks the car up and removes the wheels of his Nexon. Then, the tyres are cleaned using a brush of metal bristles by applying thinner. After this, the stickers are installed on the tyres using special glue that comes in the package.

Once the tyre stickers are installed, the wheels are put back in to place. With tyres stickers, the wheels get an increased appeal, while also projecting an illusion that the car is sitting on a set of bigger alloy wheels. While plonking a set of upsized rims sounds like a great deal, it comes at the cost of reduced road comfort. Therefore, these tyre stickers look like a better option for those who are often cruising on the highways or taking the road less travelled.

Talking of the Nexon’s mechanicals, it is offered with 2 engine options – 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L turbo-diesel. The petrol motor is designed to put out a peak power output of 120 PS and max torque of 170 Nm. The oil burner, however, churns out 110 PS and 260 Nm. Transmission options offered with these engines are a 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT.
