Hyundai i20 is one of the best-looking hatchbacks in the Indian car market. The new-gen model of the car has been recently launched in the country at a starting price of Rs. 6.79 lakh. While it is priced higher than most of its rivals, it compensates for its high price tag with its feature list. It comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment unit, which is the biggest in its segment. Moreover, it comes coupled to a 7-speaker Bose sound system. But, how well does this system sound is a question to be answered. In a quest to find out the answer, we came across a YouTube video from Plus Drive.

Talking of the powertrain options, the new-gen i20 can be had with either of the three engine options – 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo-petrol, and 1.5L diesel. The 1.2L Kappa unit produces 88 PS against 113 Nm here, and it can be had mated to either a 5-speed MT or a CVT. The diesel engine on the all-new i20 is sourced from the Venue. Thus, it puts out 100 PS of peak power and 240 Nm of max torque and comes coupled to a 6-speed MT only. The smallest and the most powerful one of the lot – 1.0L 3-pot turbo-petrol motor is designed to dish out 120 PS and 172 Nm of max output. Interestingly, it will be available with two transmission choices – 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT.
