Here’s a recent digital rendering where the front fascia of Tata Altroz has been replaced with the front-end of Harrier.

Tata Altroz is one of the most popular premium hatchbacks in its segment. It rivals with the likes of Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20. The Tata hatchback is popular among the buyers for its robust built quality and aggressive looks. Tata is known for making stylish cars, and Harrier is also one of them. In our opinion, it is the chicest looking SUV in its segment. So, here’s a recent rendering where the digital artist has replaced the front fascia of Tata Altroz with the front-end of Harrier.

One can see in the image that with Harrier’s front fascia, Tata Altroz looks more aggressive. Now talking about the changes, the premium hatchback gets sleek LED DRLs, which has enhanced the overall front look of the car. It also gets Harrier like headlamp cluster, which is positioned below the LED DRLs. Furthermore, the regular grille of the hatchback is replaced with the one offered with the Tata SUV.  Other than this, the SUV remains the same. On the side, it continues to get sporty looking two-tone alloy wheels along with blacked-out side mirrors and body-coloured door handles. Overall, the premium hatchback looks better than the regular model of the car. Talking about Tata Altroz, it is powered by 1.2-litre gasoline and 1.5-litre diesel mill. The former develops 86 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm, while the former churns out 95 PS at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm at 1,250-3,000 rpm. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed MT.

Right now, Tata Altroz is the only car in its segment, which is offered with both petrol and diesel powertrain. Soon, the carmaker will introduce the turbo petrol variant of the hatchback. It’ll derive power from a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit. The regular model of the hatchback is offered at a starting price of Rs 5.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base XE petrol trim and goes all the way up to Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec XZ Urban diesel variant.
