The drag race video has been uploaded by a YouTube Channel named as Wheels Wanderlust. The video starts with the introduction of both SUVs. Starting with the mechanical specs of both the car, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross derives power from a 2.5-litre turbo diesel mill, which puts out power and torque, outputs of 134bhp and 320 Nm. On the other hand, the Mahindra Scorpio is propelled by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel mill that produces 120bhp and 280 Nm of twisting force. Where Mahindra Scorpio loses in power, it manages in weight. As compared to the D-Max V-Cross, the Mahindra SUV is much lighter. Only one round of drag race is conducted to find out the winner.

As soon as the race starts, both the cars move off the line quickly. Then after a few seconds, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross takes the lead and stays ahead of the Scorpio till the finish line. The results were quite surprising as we are expecting Scorpio to win the race because of its low kerb weight. One of the main reasons behind the winning of Isuzu D-Max V-Cross was obviously its power. Another reason was the way power was delivered in both the engines. The low-end of the D-Cross V-Max is quite weak, while the low-end of Mahindra Scorpio is pretty powerful. That’s way Mahindra Scorpio was in the lead initially.
