Here, we have a mid-trim Kia Seltos that has been modified with new interior and exterior-wrapping. The mod-job has been performed by Crystal Car Care, New Delhi.

Kia Seltos is currently the best-selling SUV in the Indian market, and the sales momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The popularity of this car can be credited to its aggressive and sporty looks, extremely spacious interiors, and superb engine options. That, however, is not enough to satiate the millions who have bought the SUV. Some people wish to add a slight personal touch to their vehicle, customising it. One such tasteful customisation has been done on a Kia Seltos in the video below.

As can be seen in the video, the Kia Seltos in question is an ‘HTK+’ mid-level trim model, although the car has been mistakenly labelled as the base variant (HTE trim). The video also states that the base model is converted into top-trim, although that isn’t true here. There has no addition of equipment or features to the car at all. The car has been extensively modified, both outside and inside the car. The major exterior changes include black-body wrapping on the roof, pillars and ORVMs, giving the car a dual-tone theme. The interior of the car has almost been renewed completely, with custom-fit seat covers, custom door panels, new carpeting for the floor, and a new, hand-stitched leather wrap for the steering wheel. The orange-coloured seats look quite cool and, according to the host of the video, are extremely comfortable as well. Sakka leather has been used for the seats and steering wheel, which is quite a premium build material and feels like it too.

The engine of the car has been untouched. The HTK+ trim is offered with two engine options- a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. There is a 5-speed manual available as standard on both, while the diesel is also available with a 6-speed torque-convertor automatic. There is another engine offered on the Seltos, in the GT-Line trim- a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

Equipment list on the ‘HTK+’ variant includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED mood lighting, power-folding ORVMs, rear wiper and washer, Push-button start/stop, cruise control, rear window sunshade, one-touch up-and-down window (driver’s side only). It is due to the presence of these features that the car in the video can be recognised as the ‘HTK+’ trim and not the base ‘HTE’ trim.
