This Kia Seltos rides on humongous 20-inch rims that make it attract a lot of eyeballs. However, they come with their own set of pros and cons. Read about them here.

Kia Seltos became the very first product from the South Korean premium carmaker to go on sale in the country. It has been performing terrifically well and has helped the brand with establishing itself well in the market. No doubt, the Seltos looks good from all angles, but it looks like the 17-inch wheels on the SUV can look a tad boring to some. However, the aftermarket route has a lot of options and we have already seen a few Seltos riding on jazzy aftermarket rims. But this time around here’s an example that has pretty much left us spellbound. The Seltos you see below rides on massive 20-inch rims. The aftermarket rims on this Seltos come from Plati Alloys, which is an indigenous brand. The mod job was performed by Creative Wheels, who are based out of Ludhiana, Punjab.

This multi-spoke rim design looks cool in pictures but looks even better in person. Talking of the tyres, they look like 225 section rubber. While this tyre and wheel combination looks alluring, it comes with a few comprises. The increased contact patch reduces the overall mileage and performance of the car as the rolling resistance increases. Also, with hardly any side-wall in place, the ride quality takes a dip. Furthermore, there’s an added risk of cracking the alloy wheels by hitting a pothole or a speed bump at high speeds. Considering the pros, this Seltos now boasts of improved road dynamics with increment in traction and an accentuated bling.
