Kia Has Released The Seltos’s Newest Global Advertisement

Kia Seltos, the first vehicle from the Korean South automaker for the Indian auto market, has become a popular SUV in the country. This is evident by the long waiting period of the vehicle, and its massive booking numbers. The vehicle is not only on sale in the Indian car market but also sold internationally. In fact, Kia has started exporting units from India to other countries. Kia Motors Worldwide has released a new advertisement for the Seltos, showcasing some of the car's outstanding features.

The ad shows that the Kia Seltos is a bold, good-looking and well-proportionate SUV which is suitable for operating both in cities and on highways. The Seltos comes with a futuristic design with all-LED headlights, turn indicators and taillights. The car features a range of premium features, especially on the top-end variant, like a Heads-Up Display, a Bose-sourced 8-speaker sound system, UVO connect features, an 8-way electrically-adjustable seat, ventilated seats, air purifier, TPMS, six airbags, brake assist, vehicle stability management, 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, front parking sensors, UV cut glass, etc. Some of these like the HUD is segment-first features.

In the Indian auto market, the Kia Seltos keeps under its hood three motor options which come with three different automatic gearboxes. Firstly, a BSVI-compliant 1.5-litre naturally aspirated gasoline burner which can produce 115 PS against 144 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed MT or a CVT unit. Secondly, a 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor with 140 PS/242 Nm is coupled with a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCT. This is also the most powerful motor option of the Seltos. Finally, the 1.5-litre diesel unit can deliver 115 PS against 250 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed MT or torque converter.

The Kia Seltos is offered with multiple features along with various engine and transmission options.

While the India-spec Kia Seltos is offered with only an FWD system across all of its variants in India, the international model is also available with an AWD system. The latter version is expected to come to India in the foreseeable future since test mules with an AWD system have been spied on Indian roads. A more powerful turbocharged petrol motor also serves as the power source for the international model.
