Launched last month, the Kia Sonet has already become a force to reckon with by outselling the Maruti Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Venue

The Korean automaker Kia has recently launched its all-new sub-4-meter SUV named as Sonet in the Indian market. It rubs shoulders with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. It is the most affordable SUV in the carmaker’s stable and one of the most feature-loaded cars in its segment. The new Sonet owners around the country have also started customizing the SUV as per their preference. Here’s one such modified Kia Sonet, which gets swanky looking aftermarket alloy wheels.

The entry-level models of the SUV come with 15-inch steel rims, while the top-spec trims of the SUV employ 16-inch alloy wheels. The Kia Sonet you see here gets 16-inch multi-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. The red coloured front brake callipers are enhancing the overall look of the wheels. This modification job has been done by Tyre Express, Goa and it looks pretty decent and elegant. These aftermarket alloy wheels have made the all-new Kia Sonet look quite premium. Other than this, no further modifications have been made on the car.

Talking about Kia Sonet, it derives power from 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former develops 83 PS of peak power and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the latter is offered in two different states of tune and it puts out power and torque outputs of 110/115 PS and 240/250 Nm. The petrol unit comes coupled to a 5-speed MT and the diesel motor comes paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
