Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos are mechanical twins to each other as they underpinned by the same chassis and also come with same engine-gearbox options. However, they are way different than just being badge-engineered cars, as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos possess a lot of distinction in between them. But, they are priced quite similarly, which confuses a lot of buyers in deciding the car they should opt for. Before we start with the reasons that made him buy the Creta over the Seltos, we tell you that he was checking out the SX trim of the Creta and HTX trim of the Seltos. Talking of the reasons, the first reason he talks about are the safety features. The SX trim of Creta comes with disc brakes at all four ends, which isn’t the case with the HTX trim of Seltos. Additionally, it also gets vehicle stability management, hill-hold assist, and traction control. The next reason he shares is the voice-controlled panoramic sunroof. While the Seltos too comes with a sunroof, it is a smaller unit. The third reason he states is the cooled glovebox, which isn’t available on the HTX trim of the Seltos.

The next reason that Mr. Dinesh Bishnoi states for buying the Creta over the Seltos is the wireless phone charging pad that Creta comes with. The last feature on the list are the puddle lamps, which are not offered in the HTX trim of the Seltos. Also, he claims that he liked the plush ride quality that Creta comes with. Kia Seltos, in comparison, offers a firmer suspension setup, which is tuned towards a sportier side. Moreover, the Creta owner sees the bigger service network of the Hyundai brand as another benefit in the long run.
