Maruti Baleno is a nice-looking premium hatchback. However, this one looks even better with 18-inch 5-spoke rims from Vossen.

Some Indians possess a high obsession for massive alloy wheels. It is often the very first modification that is performed on a car in India. From the minuscule Alto to the ladder-frame Scorpio, all of them can be seen riding on big-fancy rims. Similarly, here’s a Maruti Baleno that has been shod with super-big 18-inch alloy wheels. It is the facelifted model of the car that was introduced in January last year. We came across this car via a YouTube video, which was uploaded by Saurav Chaudhary on his channel.

These wheels are sourced from Vossen and feature a nice 5-spoke design with a subtle concave effect. The owner has also used a sticker of the brand on the rear portion of the car’s rocker panels. These rims are wrapped in low-profile tyres with an aspect ratio of 35 and 215 mm width. Also, the front brake callipers are painted in a shade of bright yellow that does look good.

The other modifications on this car include an aftermarket music system from Pioneer. However, since this is the Delta variant of the car, it comes with a 2-din OEM music system that has a tiny LCD display. The new unit, on the other hand, is much more advanced with a touchscreen display. Thankfully, Maruti does offer the Delta trim with the same headlamps as the higher trim levels. Therefore the car looks premium with the new wheels in place.

The Vossen is a better option over other Indian brands that make alloy wheels for Maruti Baleno.

Powering this particular Baleno is a 1.3L turbocharged diesel engine. It whips out a peak power output of 74 BHP and a max. torque of 190 Nm. Transmission duties on this motor are performed by a 5-speed stick shift unit. In the BS-6 regime, Baleno misses out on a diesel engine. Instead, it now comes with a 1.2L K12N DualJet petrol motor that belts out 90 PS  of peak power output and 113 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties on this engine can be performed with either a 5-speed MT or a CVT automatic.
