The current market slowdown has affected the sales of both these cars. To attract customers, there are some lucrative deals on offer on the two. If you’re wondering which one has better discounts, well, just read ahead to find out.

On the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, there is a straight-up cash discount of Rs. 20,000. Apart from that, you can also avail an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. Thus, the total incentives available on the purchase of a new Baleno amount to a total of Rs. 35,000. With the Hyundai Elite i20, you get a slightly lower cash discount of Rs. 15,000, along with an identical exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. Also, the Baleno has a slightly higher starting price than the Hyundai, although the latter has a more-expensive top-of-the-line trim. Please note that the exchange bonus is independent of the value of the car brought in for exchange, and gets added on to it as a bonus reward.
