This Maruti Swift employs swanky 18-inch alloy wheels. These alloy wheels are of Plati brand and totally enhance the sportiness quotient of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios-rival

Maruti Swift is one of the most popular hatchbacks in India. It directly rivals with the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Last month, it was the top-selling car in India. The hatchback is also quite popular among the modifiers, and it is one of those cars, which looks eye-catching after getting modified. Here’s one such modified Maruti Swift, which gets aftermarket alloy wheels.
The regular model of the car gets 15-inch units. But, the Maruti Swift you see here employs two-tone, 18-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels and they look pretty massive.

These alloy wheels are of Plati brand. The overall cost of these alloy wheels is not known, but they seem to be quite expensive. The alloy wheels are wrapped around by low profile tyres. Moreover, they come at an added cost of reduced ride comfort. Also, they are prone to damage when encountering potholes or speed bumps at high speed. Other than this no customization has been done on the car. Mechanically, it derives power from a 1.2-litre four-pot gasoline mill, which churns out 82bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. Inside, it comes loaded with features like steering mounted controls, a touchscreen infotainment unit with latest connectivity features, automatic AC, reverse parking sensors, powered windows, a semi-digital instrument console and much more.

Last month, Maruti sold 22,643 units of Swift in India, and it's direct rival Hyundai Grand i10 Nios registered total sales of 9,982 units. This simply shows that Maruti Swift is way more ahead of the Grand i10 Nios in terms of overall sales. Maruti Swift is offered at a starting price of Rs 5.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the entry-level LXi trim and goes all the way up to Rs 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec ZXi Plus AMT variant.
