The recently launched Kia Sonet has been selling like hot cakes, with the owner of this one from Bangalore giving it the all-black treatment like Tata Harrier Dark Edition

The Indian audience is slowly growing a fascination for all-black themed cars. Currently, only the Tata Harrier Dark Edition gets you a blacked-out variant straight from the factory. Not to worry though, India has a huge auto aftermarket where you can get pretty much anything you wish for and this Kia Sonet did just that to get an all-black theme inspired by the Harrier Dark Edition. This particular Sonet belongs to Akshaya Krishna, hailing from Bangalore, Karnataka.

The Kia Sonet is offered in 10 colour trims, with Aurora Black Pear one of them, making it quite easy to get an all-black scheme done on the car. The owner of this vehicle, however, went the other all-black route by wrapping it completely in matte black, plus using a glossy black finish to replace all the erstwhile chrome elements in the scuff plates, roof rails, radiator grille, fog lamp housings, door handles and more. To complete the look it gets a set of 16-inch alloys from Neo Wheels India which get the all-black treatment as well.

It makes this particular Sonet, an already very good looking car, look even more desirable from all sides. The Kia Sonet was just recently launched in India and it has already hit the ground running and set a company record by getting 6,000 bookings on the first day itself. It was also the highest-selling compact crossover in September 2020 with over 9,000 units sold in the country.
