The Kia Seltos has a varied and wide model range to fit everyone's budgets, but the top-models can get too expensive for some. Check out these mods you can do if you own a mid-range Seltos.

The Kia Seltos was the first offering from the Korean automaker in the Indian market. First showcased at the Indian AutoExpo in 2018, it finally went on sale in 2019 and quickly became one of the best selling SUVs in the country. Its feature-loaded variants, attractive design, and affordable prices made it a common sight very quickly on Indian roads. It has already sold well over a lakh units since its launch, surprising since it competes against the 2020 Hyundai Creta and updated for 2021 MG Hector in a very competitive segment. The Seltos also has a growing aftermarket modification space as buyers want to differentiate their vehicles, and today we have these two Kia Seltos in HTK+ trims that have been modified to look like the top variants.

The video has been uploaded by Arun Panwar on YouTube, and in it, we talk to the owners about the modifications their Kia Seltos’ gets. On the exterior, both vehicles get LED headlights with LED DRL strip running between them, just like the top models. Since aftermarket accessories are still in short supply, making the LED headlights work was an issue at first as it would show as an error in the MID. The owners bought some OEM couplers from Korea after which the units starting working properly, and also not voiding the warranty. There are new ice-cube shaped factory fog lamps which you don’t get in the HTK+ variant. On the side, there is a new chrome garnish in the lower door. Both vehicles also get the top variant’s LED taillights and chrome running strip while the rear bumper has been replaced as well. A new sleeker aftermarket spoiler has been fitted as well.

The Kia Seltos HTK+ that has been given the GT Line treatment gets factory GT Line badges fitted as well as the lip spoiler complete with red highlights. The rear lower bumper also gets red highlights along with the lower doors to look authentic. Over to the interior, it remains largely stock except for the addition of a rear centre armrest which isn’t available in the HTK+. Overall, both these vehicles look more like the top end HTX and GT Line variants instead of an HTK+, the only giveaway being the smaller infotainment system inside.
