Kia Seltos is highly-loved by the Indian audience. The South-Korean carmaker has recently introduced the Anniversary Edition model of the compact-SUV in the country. The Seltos boats of a great design, long list of features, and a plethora of engine-gearbox combinations. All of this has helped it with a successful foray in the Indian market. Also, coming across subtly-modified examples of the Seltos isn’t a tough task either. A lot of them can be seen riding on a set of massive aftermarket alloy wheels and low-profile tyres. However, very-limited examples are seen with massive 20-inchers in place, but here’s one that we recently came across via a social media platform.

These alloy wheels are sourced from Creative Designs, who are based out of Delhi. The flashy 5-spoke units are from the collection of Kahn Designs and are shod with 255-section 40-profile Yokohama tyres. While these rims look uber cool on the Seltos, they do come with their own downsides. The first of all is the ride quality. With hardly any sidewall in the low-profile tyres, the ride quality goes for a toss, and so do the reliability, as the chances of breaking the wheel when encountering bad roads increases proportionately. From the factory, the Seltos comes with two options for the alloy wheels. The mid-spec trim gets R16 units, while the top-spec variant gets the R17 alloy wheels.

It can be had mated to either a 6-speed MT or a CVT. Next is a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, which develops 115 PS against 250 Nm. The gearbox options for this engine include a 6-speed MT and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The last on the list is a 1.4L 4-cylinder turbo-petrol unit that churns out a peak power output of 140 PS and max torque of 242 Nm, and it can be had with either a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCT.
