Modified Kia Sonet HTX+ Gets Silver Cladding & Sportier Rims

This Kia Sonet gets subtle aftermarket modifications. The SUV derives power from several engine and gearbox options.

Recently, Kia introduced its all-new sub-4-meter SUV in our market named as Sonet. The carmaker has registered more than 50,000 bookings in just a short span of time. In its segment, it locks horns with likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. The SUV is popular among the buyers because of its wild design and many enthusiasts around the country have been modifying the Sonet as per their preference to make it look more aggressive. Here’s one such modified Kia Sonet, which employs new aftermarket alloy wheels and cladding.

The Kia Sonet you see here is the HTX+ variant of the car and it is owned by Mr Samichand. Talking about the modifications, the SUV gets aftermarket sporty looking 16-inch alloy wheels. These are silver-coloured multi-spoke alloy wheels. These alloy wheels look mesmerizing and have enhanced the look of the Kia SUV. The overall cost of these aftermarket alloy wheels is not known, but it seems to be quite expensive. Other than this, it also gets silver-coloured cladding around the body. These are a few customizations, the modifier has done on the car. The silver-coloured coloured cladding and aftermarket alloy wheels have enhanced the overall look of the SUV.

Talking about Kia Sonet, inside, the SUV comes loaded with features like a massive 10.25-inch HD touchscreen with navigation and live traffic, Bose premium seven-speaker sound system with sub-woofer, Smart Pure air purifier with virus and bacteria protection and front ventilated driver and passenger seats. Moreover, it also gets features like LED sound mood lights, 4.2-inch colour instrument cluster, Over-the-air (OTA) map updates, remote engine start via UVO Connect and Smart Key (automatic and manual transmission), wireless smartphone charger with cooling function, multi-drive & traction modes for automatic trims. It is offered at a starting price of Rs 6.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the entry-level THE variant and goes all the way up to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec GTX Plus variant.
