Check out this modified BS6 Mahindra Bolero with orange LED DRLs, which look exciting and make the UV one of its kind.

LED DRLs is one of the few features that have made their way from the expensive luxury cars to mass-market vehicles. They can now be seen on entry-level offerings like Renault Kwid, Datsun Redi-GO and more. However, some products, which have been updated recently, still fails to get a pair of LED DRLs. And, Mahindra Bolero is one of those cars. Mahindra has recently updated the Bolero with a new BS-6 compliant engine and some minor cosmetic revisions. Mahindra has revised the styling of the front facet of the Bolero with the use of new bumper, radiator grille, and headlamps, but the LED DRLs have been given a miss. However, here’s a modified example of the facelifted Bolero, which gets custom LED DRLs.

The Bolero in the pictures gets a set of orange-coloured LED DRLs, which resembles the shape of the headlamp cluster. They have been fixed inside the headlamps assembly and look neat for sure. This modification job has been performed by Underground Customs, who are based out of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

The Bolero is a mean-looking SUV with an old-school boxy silhouette. With the orange LED DRLs in place, it looks even more exciting. Also, such DRLs are only seen on big American trucks, which surpass the width limit of 6 feet. Apart from the pair of LED DRLs, this modified Bolero also gets a set of steelies, which are now shod with all-terrain tyres. Overall, it looks much better than the stock car.

Talking of the specifications, Bolero is in its BS6 avatar is offered with a 1.5L mHawk diesel engine. The 4-cylinder turbocharged oil burner is capable of putting out a peak power output of 75 PS and max torque of 210 Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed stick shift unit. However, with the introduction of the new BS-6 compliant motor, Bolero misses out on the 4X4 drivetrain that it was earlier offered with. Mahindra retails the Bolero in 3 variants. Prices for the Bolero start at Rs. 7.98 lakh and max out at Rs. 8.99 lakh.
