This Mahindra Bolero features massive aftermarket wheels and comprehensively upgraded exterior. Moreover, the original engine of Mahindra Bolero has been replaced by a Scorpio-sourced unit.

Mahindra Bolero is one of the most popular choices in the off-roader segment in India. As any other favoured offroaders, the Mahindra Bolero has become a subject for countless modifications. Every once in a while, we will see a bold new modified version of this beloved vehicle. Recently, there is a new impressive modified Mahindra Bolero that looks like a monster truck. Let’s see what modifications have been done on the Bolero to archive this boisterous look.

This modified Mahindra Bolero features an impressive road presence with monstrous wheels

On the front end, this Mahindra Bolero gets a 52-inch LED light bar as well as new LED foglights. It also features a Lexus-inspired LED DRLs and LED turn indicators. To increase the approach and departure angle, the original bumper is replaced by a new rugged offroad unit. It retains the same grille and headlights from the original model.

As for the side profile, the Mahindra Bolero receives massive 35-inch tyres and customised wheel arches which make SUV appear more muscular. Thanks to this new set of wheels, the Mahindra Bolero takes a bold step in evolving into a monster truck. What’s more, the large wheels have lifted the SUV by 8 to 9 inches, increase the road presence and improve the offroad capability. Other additional elements to the design include a roof-mounted long LED bar, snorkel, and Toyota FJ Cruiser-sourced side mirrors. When opening the door, you will see a power footstep come out, allowing easier ingress and egress.

Toward the rear end, the monster truck sports an aftermarket LED taillamps and a boot lid-mounted spare wheel. To complete the new look, the Mahindra Bolero is repainted in a new bright yellow exterior colour that makes the SUV even more outstanding.

The modified Mahindra Bolero derives power from a new turbocharged diesel engine

On the inside, the Mahindra Bolero also receives a thoroughly updated interior. It now comes with an all-black interior scheme with leather-wrapped seats. Moreover, there is also a new touchscreen infotainment system and rear JWS speakers and front-facing rear seats.

Besides the extensive aesthetic updates, this Mahindra Bolero also receives a new powertrain setting. It now sources power from Scorpio’s DI turbo diesel engine which generates a top power of 75 PS and 152 Nm while the standard Bolero is powered by a BSVI 75 Bhp 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine. With a new engine, the Bolero can reach the maximum speed of 118 kmpl. It returns the fuel mileage of around 12 kmpl to 13 kmpl. Additionally, the original suspension setting is replaced with a new Ironman suspension.
