Modified Maruti Celerio Tries to Replicate Bugatti Veyron & Fails Miserably

Bugatti Veyron is one of those hypercars that almost everyone around the world has heard about. It was once the fastest street-legal production car in the world. It derives power from an 8-litre W-16 gasoline mill, which comes with four turbochargers. The engine is capable of shredding out power and torque outputs of 1184 Bhp and 1500 Nm. The body of the Bugatti hypercar is made of carbon fibre and aluminium. All these things helped Bugatti Veyron to touch a top speed of 408 kmph. Enthusiasts around the world aspire to buy this car, but most of them are not able to afford it because of its super-expensive price tag. Here are a few images of a modified Maruti Celerio, which has been modified to look like Bugatti Veyron. Yes! You read it right.

This is the 2014 model of Maruti Celerio. The car is registered in Delhi and has done around 45,000 km on the odometer. It is the VXI trim of the hatchback that is offered with a petrol mill and comes coupled to an AMT gearbox. The owner of the car has modified the exterior and interior of the car. This Maruti Celerio looks very different from the original Bugatti Veyron. This mod job looks quite cheap and shoddy. Also, it is on sale, and the seller of this modified Maruti Celerio is demanding Rs 3.95 lakhs for it. The front fascia of the hatchback has been customized with fibre, and it does look like a cheap kit car. The middle part features Bugatti-like horseshoe grille. The headlamps of the car do look similar to the one offered with Veyron.

The number plate is positioned just below the horseshoe grille. Overall, the design of this modified Maruti Celerio is quite weird. In fact, the Celerio looks much better in its stock iteration. For the powertrain duties, it still uses the 1.0-litre three-pot NA petrol motor, which puts out 68 PS of power and 90 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties on a Maruti Celerio can be had performed by a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The carmaker is also working on the new-gen model of the hatchback and it has been spied several times while getting tested. It is expected to go on sale by the end of this year.
