Modified Tata Tiago Facelift Looks Extra Premium

Tata Motors launched the updated 2020 Tiago hatchback in India earlier this year, boasting of some massive design changes and technological updates. In its newest avatar, the Tiago is a looker itself, but it can’t stop the modifiers to add some bits of personality to the vehicle. That said, Tata Tiago becomes a car that people like to customise as per their likeness. Among a number of examples of modified Tiago, this is the first modified Tata Tiago facelift model. Uploaded by a Youtube channel named Jaysn Nation, the video shows us the thorough modifications done on the new Tata Tiago which is just about one month old. Unlike other modified cars that go for wild modifications to get a wacky look, this modified Tata Tiago has gone for something that’s more practical in daily use.

The front and rear bumpers of the car are equipped with chrome protectors. The wheels come with aftermarket dual-tone wheel cap which mirrors the dual-tone alloy wheels from distance. The car also gets chrome-plated door handles as well as rain visors.

Moving to the inside, not much has been done to the interior of the Tiago, save for an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system that also serves as a display for the reverse parking camera. Other than that, there’s an aftermarket ambient lighting system that can be remotely controlled as well.

As mentioned earlier, the modified Tiago remains almost unchanged in terms of look compared to the stock version. Despite that, the car’s owner has opted for the most useful accessories that make his life easier along the roads. It is said that the car’s owner has spent around Rs 45,000 on these customisations.

In the stock form, the current Tata Tiago is only available with a petrol engine option. The BS6 Tata Tiago facelift gets the power from a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that develops a max power of 84 BHP and 115 Nm of peak torque. The engine can be coupled with either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT option, both of which come with a front-wheel-drive system. The 2020 Tata Tiago BS6 is going on sale at the price of Rs 4.6 – 6.59 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
