New-gen Tata Safari Digitally Rendered as a Pick-up Truck

Recently, Tata Motors launched the new-gen Safari in our market. The car has created a lot of buzz in India before its official launch. Right now, digital artists around the country are quite busy reimagining the new Tata SUV is different avatars. Here's one such digital rendering in which the 2021 Tata Safari has been transformed into a pickup.

The digital render has been made by Ayush Dubey. The SUV employs a lot of customizations. The front fascia of the car gets a sturdy bash plate fitted under the off-road spec bumper, which employs fog lamps. The wheel arches are now much thicker, and it also gets a new set of alloy wheels which are shod with dual-purpose rubber. Moreover, it also gets side steps. The rear side of the vehicle features the biggest change in design. The passenger cabin at the back has been shortened by moving the C-pillars forward. The D-pillar and the rear section of the SUV have been removed to make it a loading bed. Moreover, the designer has also added a set of bed bars to make it look more eye-catching. There are also a few tiny mods, which are worth noticing like it gets a new pair of roof rails, which are employed to make the SUV look good aesthetically.

The front bumper, tailgate, wheel and tyres seem to be taken from Ford Raptor. Overall, this rendering looks amazing, and we really expect it to see in its real-life avatar. Talking about the new-gen Tata Safari, it drives power from a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel mill, which develops 170 PS of peak power and 350 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of MG Hector Plus and upcoming Mahindra XUV500. It gets retailed at a starting price of Rs 14.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 21.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-end variant.
