Here's a video showcasing the sound output of the new-gen Hyundai i20's Bose sound system. Take a look at it here.

Hyundai i20 in its third-gen iteration is making it big to the headlines for the sales volume. The premium hatchback comes at a starting price of Rs. 6.80 lakh.  As of now, Hyundai has received over 25,000 bookings for the new-gen i20. A big reason for this successful start for the i20 in the Indian market is its long list of features. However, our favourite of all is its 10.25-inch infotainment unit that comes coupled to a 7-speaker Bose sound system. Hyundai is already offering this unit on the more expensive products like Creta, but the i20 is the smallest car in its lineup to come fitted with one. Therefore, we thought of testing it out and giving you folks an idea of the same.

To put it through the test, we played a total of three songs on this infotainment unit with different settings at equalizer to understand how good the mid-tone, bass, and vocals are. Also, we kept changing the volume to find out if the sound output starts to distort at any point. With the first song itself, the sound system’s output took us into confidence with its well-defined bass. With the next two songs, it was pretty evident that the Hyundai i20 offers one of the best sound systems in its segment. Even the Altroz comes with a Harman-tuned sound system, but this Bose unit feels superior. Also, at full volume and bass pumping hard, there were no rattles to talk of, showcasing the impressive fit and finish of the new-gen i20.
