New Hyundai i20 Looks SPORTY with Star Alloys and Red Brake Callipers

A few days back, Hyundai launched the 2020 i20 in our market. It rivals with the likes of Tata Altroz and Maruti Baleno. The all-new model of the hatchback feature aggressive looks and comes loaded with a lot of advanced features. Here are a few images of the new-gen Hyundai i20, which employs aftermarket alloy wheels.

The stock model of the hatchback employs 16-inch units, while the Hyundai i20 you see here employs aftermarket 17-inch mags, which looks quite sporty. These alloy wheels are in silver colour shade and look pretty good on the Hyundai’s premium hatchback. The front disc brake callipers and rear drum brakes are painted in red colour shade. The modification job has been done by Monga Tyres, Ludhiana, and these alloy wheels are of Plati brand. We don’t know the overall cost of this modification, but it doesn’t seem to be that expensive.

Other than this, no customizations have been done by the modifier. The employment of the aftermarket alloy wheels has enhanced the aggressive look of the hatchback. Talking about the 2020 Hyundai i20, it is among the most awaited launched from the carmaker for 2020. It is offered with three different engine options namely- a 1.2-litre petrol mill, 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. The 1.2-litre petrol motor puts out 82bhp of power, and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor develops 99bhp of power output.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine also produces 99bhp of peak power. Inside, the premium hatchback comes loaded with all the bells and whistles like an automatic AC, fully digital instrument console, wireless charging pad, touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control and so on.  In terms of dimension, the new-gen Hyundai i20 is 3995 mm is long, 1775 mm wide, 1505 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2580 mm. It is offered at a starting price tag of Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the entry-level variant and goes all the way up to Rs 11.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-of-the-line trim.
