Hyundai has just launched the new-gen i20 hatchback in India with three engine options, one of which is a potent turbo-petrol unit. The 2020 Hyundai i20 comes with an all-new 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged-petrol motor that comes mated to a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed iMT unit. The turbo variants of the 2020 i20 are currently on sales within the price bracket of around Rs 10 – 11.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the costliest hatchback in our country. The car tested in the video here is the 2020 Hyundai i20 turbo-DCT variant which we can find out the top-speed as well as the stability at high speeds in the real-world conditions. At some certain points, the driver managed to hit the top speed of 167 kmph that is achieved after the rpm nearly reaching 5,500 rpm mark. The 2020 Hyundai i20 Turbo is capable of generating 120 PS of max power and 175 Nm of peak torque, be it the most powerful hatchback cars in the category.
