The government-spec Tata Safari has been given an elongated wheelbase and gets an extra B pillar to compensate for the extra length. This should free up more space for the rear passengers. The signature Safari stepped rear roofline remains, but it is longer now. The SUV gets a blacked-out paint job with the alloys finished in a shade of black as well. Over on the front, there’s a new grille with chrome vertical slats while police lights are integrated on the middle grille. There is a flag holder on the front fender which has the Indian tricolour fitted to it. Overall, it is a very imposing vehicle and you wouldn’t mistake it for anything else.
