New Tata Safari vs Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition - Key Differences Explained

Recently, Tata Motors has launched the all-new Safari in the Indian market. The automaker has introduced an Adventure edition of the SUV with the top-spec XZ+ variant. The all-new Tata Safari is offered at a starting price of Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 21.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant. The Adventure Persona edition of the SUV is between Rs 20.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

The Adventure Persona edition of the SUV shares parts like engine, silhouette, cycle parts and features with the regular model of Safari. The differences are only limited to cosmetics. Tata Safari Adventure Persona edition is offered in Tropical Mist colour shade, which the carmaker claims is inspired by rich and diverse flora present across the vibrant landscapes of India. The Adventure Persona edition will be offered with R18, machine-cut, black tinted charcoal grey alloy wheels along with piano black garnish on the front grille, door handles, roof rails and Safari lettering on the bonnet. The cabin of Tata Safari Adventure Persona edition looks quite premium as it gets an earthy brown interior, dark chrome accents on the instrument cluster, air vents, inner door handles, knob and switches. One can also see a few piano-black accents on the steering wheel, pad finisher, grab handles and floor console frame.

Talking about the all-new Tata Safari, it gets propelled by a 2.0-litre Kryotec, four-cylinder diesel mill, which is capable of shredding out 170bhp of peak power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This is the same powertrain and gearbox option, which does duties in Tata Harrier.
