Here's a neat digital rendering of the upcoming Nissan Magnite that will soon enter the pool of sub-4m compact-SUVs that include the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Venue

The sub-4m compact-SUV space is currently the most heated-up segment in the Indian car market. Soon, 3 new competitors will be joining this space. One of which is the Nissan Magnite. It was first teased in January this year, and then recently Nissan India released another teaser of the Magnite. However, both of these teasers failed to showcase much of the details of the Magnite. It was the Nissan’s official teaser video of its upcoming line-up that revealed the car’s front-end and side profile. Based on these teasers, our in-house rendering specialist created a digital render of the upcoming Nissan Magnite.

The digitally rendered version of the car gets the same front-end as it was seen in Nissan’s teaser clip. In place of Nissan’s V-Motion grille, it gets Datsun-like hexagonal grille, which is surrounded by chunky chrome strips. Also, it gets sleek swept-back headlamps with LED DRLs, which also extend all the way down to the bumper in another assembly. Something similar is also seen on the recently launched Redi-GO. The Magnite gets a chunky skid plate, obviously fake, but it will make its way to the production-spec version.

Moving over to the sides, the Magnite will get floating-effect for the roof like its elder sibling, Kicks. Also, in the rendering here, it has been fitted with massive alloy wheels, but expect the production-spec car to come with either 16- or 17-inch alloys wheels. It will sport a decently long wheelbase to offer a good amount of space on the inside. The rear windscreen on the Magnite will be tapered just like the Kicks, to give it that funky coupe-like appeal.

On the inside, expect the Magnite to come equipped with a lot of features. If a sunroof will be there as an option or not, remains a question. But, the car will come with a modern touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It will get the similar steering wheel as the Kicks with buttons for audio and cruise control. Talking of the engines, the Magnite is likely to be offered with a 1.0L turbo-petrol engine. This motor is good to push out 100 PS of peak power and 160 Nm of max torque. It will be offered with 2 transmission options – 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT.
