Nissan Magnite Official TVC Out

Nissan has released its all-new TVC video, which reveals all the interior and exterior details of the SUV.

Recently, the Japanese automaker, Nissan reveals its all-new sub-4-meter SUV named as Magnite in the Indian market. It is expected to hit the Indian shores by the second half of next year. Once launched, it’ll rival with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Nissan’s all-new sub-4-meter SUV is based on the company’s CMF-A modular platform. The same platform also underpins Renault Triber. Moreover, Renault’s upcoming sub-4-meter SUV, which is expected to be named as Kiger will be based on the same platform. Earlier, Magnite was planned to launch under Datsun brand.

The production-spec model of the SUV looks very similar to that of the prototype version showcased by the automaker early this year. Upfront, it employs Datsun-like octagonal-shaped grill along with bi-projector LED headlamps. The front fascia of the car also features L-shaped LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, faux skid plate and a well-sculpted bonnet. On the side, the SUV looks pretty muscular, thanks to the dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, pronounced wheel arches, ORVMs with LED side indicators, prominent body cladding, silver roof rails, blacked-out pillars, dual-tone roof. At the rear, it gets LED taillights, two-tone bumper, clutter-free tailgate. The production-spec model of the SUV follows the interior design theme of the concept version. Inside, it employs 20 segment-first features such as a 360-degree camera, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Moreover, it also gets features like a 7.0-inch TFT display for the instrument console, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, cruise control and connected car technology. Nissan Magnite gets features like driver & passenger airbags, ABS with EBD and reverse parking sensors. The top-spec variants of the car will come loaded with features like traction control, Isofix child seat mounts, vehicle dynamic control, and hill start assist. Mechanically, it’ll derive power from a 1.0-litre NA and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The former will produce 72bhp of power, while the latter will shred out a power output of 95bhp.
