Japanese carmaker Nissan recently launched its first-ever sub-4-meter SUV in the Indian market named as Magnite. In its segment, it rubs shoulders against the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. It is the most affordable SUV in its segment. In our market, the Nissan SUV is offered in four different trims levels namely- XE, XL, XV and XV (Premium). The XL variant of Nissan Magnite is retailed at a price tag of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Talking about its look, upfront, it gets halogen headlamps and halogen side indicators. The bumper of the car does not feature LED DRLs, but it gets some premium chrome accents. The lower part of the SUV gets faux silver-coloured skid plate. It also employs a big grille, which employs Nissan’s all-new logo, and is bordered with chrome inserts. The side profile of the car gets dual-tone wheel caps, which looks like alloy wheels. Moreover, it gets piano black, electrically adjustable wing mirrors with integrated side blinkers. The wheel arches and door cladding makes the Nissan SUV look rugged. The rear-end of the car employs a sporty looking spoiler with an integrated stop light, wiper, washer, defogger and reverse parking sensors.

From outside, the Nissan Magnite XL trim comes loaded with some decent amount of features. Inside, the cabin of the car gets a fully-digital instrument console, automatic A/C, steering mounted control, a stereo system, four-power windows and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel. One can see in the video that the Nissan Magnite XL variant comes loaded with a lot of features and at a price tag of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it seems like a worthy package. Mechanically, the Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1.0-litre NA and turbocharged petrol engine, which comes coupled to a 5-speed MT or CVT.
