Official Walk-around Video of 2020 Tata Harrier Gives Us a Good Look at the Updated SUV

Tata has realesed the official walkaround video of the 2020 Harrier. The updated SUV employs subtle cosmetical tweaks outside and few a additional features inside.
Tata Harrier is one of the popularly known SUVs in its segment. It was launched back in 2019 and quickly became popular among the buyers because of its aggressive looks, pricing and features. The SUV rivals the likes of MG Hector, Kia Seltos and Jeep Compass. Tata Motors recently launched the 2020 version of the Harrier, which came with some substantial updates to ensure that the rising competition in the mid-size SUV segment doesn't affect its popularity. The updated model was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and you can find all its official details HERE. Today, we even have an official walkaround video of the refreshed model that shows us all the features highlights of the SUV.

The walkaround video starts by showcasing the exterior of the car. The overall styling of the SUV continues to be the same as the car retains its bulky and robust look. Talking about the cosmetical changes, the 2020 model now gets diamond-cut alloy wheels and redesigned wing mirrors.

Moreover, Tata has also introduced two new colour shades for the updated model, namely- Calypso Red and Cocoa Sparkle. Apart from these subtle tweaks, the SUV continues to get the same set of projector headlamps, dual function LED DRL and LED taillights. Inside, the 2020 Tata Harrier now features 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat. The major update, however, is the addition of a panoramic sunroof, which was not offered with the pre-facelift model. It also gets an auto-dimming IRVM along with ESP as a standard fitment.

The interior looks of the SUV remain the same and it continues to feature leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats, touchscreen infotainment system with JBL speakers and much more. Mechanically, the 2020 Tata Harrier derives power from a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged oil burner that produces 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque.

2020 Tata Harrier is more powerful than the BS4 model

The updated mill produces 30PS more power output than the BS4 version. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. Earlier, the SUV was also only offered with a manual gearbox, but now the engine gets upgraded with a 6-speed Hyundai sourced AT.
