Maruti Vitara Brezza is the safest car offered by the automaker in the Indian market. The SUV has scored a 4-star safety rating and is better than many sub-4-meter SUVs. Here’s a recent incident, which shows how the Maruti SUV suffered via a major accident and kept all the passengers safe.

This accident took place in South India, where the Maruti Vitara Brezza was travelling in a hilly area. As per reports, seven people were sitting inside the car, which is quite unsafe. The seven passengers also include two children who were sitting in the second row. As reported, the driver lost control of the car on a turn. While falling into the cliff, the Maruti SUV rolled at least ten times. The car has been damaged completely, which consists of roof, pillars and crumple zones. All the seven passengers sitting inside the vehicle were safe. The passengers suffer from some minor injuries, which can treatable, but most importantly everyone was safe. This incident clearly shows the robust built quality of Maruti Vitara Brezza. Talking about Maruti Vitara Brezza, it is one of the top-selling cars in its segment.

The SUV competes with the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Mechanically, it derives power from a 1.5-litre four-pot petrol engine, which is capable of shredding out 103bhp of power and 138 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The same powertrain option does duties in Maruti Ciaz, S-Cross, Ertiga and XL6. Inside, it comes loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic AC, a semi-digital instrument console, power windows and much more. It is retailed at a starting price of Rs 8.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the entry-level LXi trim and goes all the way up to Rs 13.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec ZXI Plus AT Dual Tone variant.
