Overloaded Truck Turns Over Tata Nexon, All Occupants Live To Tell The Tale - VIDEO

Tata Nexon has been nothing but a success story for the Indian carmaker marque ever since its launch back in 2017. The vehicle features modern and up-to-date features to keep itself in the apex of a competitive space that has seen multiple new entrants in recent years. While far from being a bestseller, the Tata Nexon has captured a sizeable chunk of the sales pie in the rapidly expanding segment. More importantly, the Nexon is the first Indian vehicle to get the full 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, and if you’re in the market to buy a new car, the safety features should be just as important as rest of the equipment list.

In the video that has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube, we see a grisly accident where an overloaded truck has ended up turning over a Tata Nexon. It looks like the truck was overweight on one side and ended up tipping over the Nexon, covering the whole car. Fortunately, even if the front impact zones have crumpled, the roof managed to hold the weight of the truck. The passengers were pulled out of the stricken vehicle by passersby. They sustained only miinor injuries. Watching the video it's clear that the accident could have been even worse, but the modern crash structures and build quality of the Nexon saved the occupants from anything serious. 

Prices for the Tata Nexon range from Rs 6.99 lakh for the base XE version and goes up to Rs 12.70 lakh for the flagship  XZA+ diesel trim. It is available with two engine options, a 1.2 litre turbo petrol or a 1.5 litre turbo-diesel, both of which can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT. Prices for the new facelifted model starts from Rs 7 lakh, with the top trim coming in at Rs 12.70 lakh. Between its petrol and diesel engines, The Nexon is available in over 30 variants to choose from, which means you should be able to find the perfect Nexon with the exact specs and features you want.
