Maruti Baleno is the brand’s offering in the premium hatchback segment in the country. It competes against the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Honda jazz, Tata Altroz and more. The Baleno was launched in the country in the year 2015 and received a mid-life update in the form of a facelift in January 2019. While the facelift did not come with a lot of changes, but it surely boasted of some subtle yet crucial changes that impart a sense of freshness to the Baleno. Since the facelift came with some small changes, the pre-facelift example of the Baleno can be converted to the facelifted avatar, easily. Here’s one converted example that we came across via a social media platform.

Pre-facelift Maruti Baleno Converted To Facelifted Model in Around Rs. 15,000

This Baleno is originally a pre-facelift model and belongs to Abhishek Eriah. He shared on a social media platform that his total bill was a shade over Rs. 18,000. However, the bill also included the cost of a new fender and a headlamp (Right-hand side), which totals around Rs. 8,000 comprising the cost of spare parts, labour charges, and painting. Hence it can be concluded that the cost of conversion was nearly Rs. 10,000 only. The parts that were changed to convert the pre-facelift model into the facelifted one are the front bumper, fog lamp housings, and front radiator grille.
