Here's a recent digital rendering of the production-spec version of Skoda Kushaq. It is expected to hit the Indian shores in coming months.

A few days back, the Czech carmaker Skoda revealed new design sketches of their upcoming SUV named Kushaq ahead of its global unveil on 18th March 2021. One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming Skoda SUV is its design and styling. We expect it to be one of the best looking SUVs in its segment. Recently, our in-house rendering artist Soheb R.Kalania has come up with a new digital render, which shows us how the production-spec version of the Skoda Kushaq could look like.

The upcoming Skoda Kushaq was first showcased in concept form as Vision IN last year at the 2020 Auto Expo. The recent design sketches revealed a few days back, shows that the production-spec model will be mildly toned than the concept model of the SUV. In this render, our digital artist has tried to further tone down the design sketch to get an exact idea about the production-spec model of the SUV.

The production-spec model of the car will look quite similar to that of the Vision IN concept. The front fascia of the SUV will get Skoda’s signature butterfly grille with some premium chrome accents. The illumination duties will be done by LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lamps. The front bumper of the car gets a wide air-dam and two aggressive-looking air-intakes on both sides.

On the side, it gets round wheel arches alloy with sporty looking alloy wheels. We expect the production-spec version of the car to employ 17-inch rims. It employs heavy plastic cladding all around the body to give SUV a rugged appeal. In this digital rendering, the rear profile of the SUV is not clearly visible but is likely to get wrap-around taillights, a sporty-looking roof spoiler and a faux diffuser. The interior details of the SUV are still undercover. Mechanically, it will get propelled by a 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbocharged mill. The former will come paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed MT, while the latter will be offered with a 7-speed DCT or a6-speed MT.
