Ranveer Singh Spied In A Red Lamborghini Urus

The Lamborghini Urus recently attained the title of the best-selling super-luxury car in India. The SUV was officially launched in the country last year with the first delivery being implemented in September 2018. 50 units of the super SUV have been delivered in India, setting a new record for both the automaker and the industry. Recently, Ranveer Singh bought one Lamborghini Urus with a red paint scheme and was spied driving his new vehicle in Mumbai.

Ranveer Signh was recenty spied driving a red Lamborghini Urus on Mumbai roads.

The flashy red shade that Ranveer’s Urus gets is a less common colour which is harmonious with his colourful personality. He even put on a red velvet to match his new car. The Lamborghini Urus is priced at INR 3.0 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) but the on-road price can amount to INR 3.5 core. Most owners also opt for modifications to the interior, which are offered by the company. This increases the price further. It remains unknown whether Ranveer has modified his SUV’s interior but this is likely the case.

As regards the Lamborghini Urus, the SUV is one of the fastest and most powerful SUVs. Having a seating capacity for four average adults, the luxury car is packed with numerous cutting-edge features. Some of the most outstanding ones include a custom Bang & Olufsen 3D surround sound system, a 360-degree surround-view camera and the ANIMA drive modes. The last one allows the car to efficiently operate over various terrains.

The Lamborghini Urus receives its power from 4.0-litre Twin Turbo V8 motor which can deliver 641 BHP against 850 Nm. The transmission duties are undertaken by an 8-speed torque converter with a central torsion differential 4WD with a torque-vectoring rear differential. This engine helps the Urus reach 100 kmph and 200 kmph from a standstill in only 3.6 and 12.8 seconds, which even exceeds some sportscars.

The Urus is one of the fastest luxury cars in the world.

The SUV weighs up to almost 2.2 tonnes, which does not prevent it from attaining a maximum speed of 305 kmph. Actually, the Urus is the world second-fastest SUV, only after the Bentley Bentayga Speed. The vehicle has become a striking example of the increasing popularity of super SUVs all over the world. This partially explains for the penetration of many hardcore sportscar manufacturers into the SUV segment.

Regarding Ranveer and his car collection, the Bollywood star has an impressive garage with some super luxury cars besides the Lamborghini Urus. These include the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, Mercedes-Benz GLS Range Rover Vogue, Audi Q5, Jaguar XJ L and Aston Martin Rapide S. The actor also owns a Maruti Ciaz which was presented to him by the company several years ago when he was the brand ambassador of the sedan.
