Renault Triber is a good-looking compact MPV, which misses out on the fancy face of the Kwid and beefiness of the Duster. However, here's a rendering of Renault Triber Adventure Edition that brings in both of these traits

Renault Triber is currently the best-selling product from the French carmaker’s stable in India. Also, it is the only 7-seater car in Renault’s line-up. The Triber was launched in August 2019 and it managed to create a new sub-4m MPV segment, altogether. Talking of the Triber’s design, it isn’t breathtakingly gorgeous but looks proportionate even with its compact dimensions. However, we feel that Renault should’ve designed it on the same lines as the smaller Kwid and bigger Duster. It would’ve looked more appealing to SUV-loving Indian audience. To put our imaginations into a digital perspective, our in-house rendering specialist – Shoeb R. Kalania, used his digital magic wand to showcase how the Triber would look like with the hiking attire.

To start with, it gets a redesigned front fascia, which is inspired by the Kwid. It gets the vertically-split headlamp setup with sleek LED DRLs that are joined together via a slim line of chrome. With the new face, it now misses out on a scuff plate that the Triber comes with. On the sides, the small 15-inch tyres are now replaced with the bigger multi-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels that are shod with chunky mud-terrain tyres. To accommodate them, the wheel arches have been beefed up and get a black cladding around them.

Furthermore, ample use of black cladding has been put in place to break the visual bulk of the sheet metal on the sides. On the top, a custom roof rack has been mounted on the roof rails that come as a factory fitment. This roof rack gives the car a rugged appeal, while the auxiliary lamps mounted on the rack complements the car’s adventure theme.

The Triber is offered in 5 colours in total, namely Metal Mustard, Electric Blue, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver, and Ice Cool White. But, the car in the rendering has been finished in a shade of flashy orange, which looks quite nice on the Triber. As of now, Renault sells the Triber at a starting price of Rs. 4.99 lakh, and offers it with a 1.0L 3-pot petrol motor that develops 72 PS of peak power and 96 Nm of max torque. Talking of the Triber’s gearbox options, it can be had with either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT.
