Renault Triber is available with four variants. Here are details of the lowest priced RxE provided through a quick walkaround video

Earlier this year, Renault Triber made its debut in the affordable 7-seater MPV segment. Notably, the car is equipped with some first-in-class features. It goes on sales with four variants – standard RXE, RXL and RXT and top-spec RXZ. While the top-spec model will come with the bells and whistles, its entry-level variant RxE is decently equipped. Priced at Rs 4.95 lakh, Renault RxE is cheaper than most of its competitors in the space. Let’s find out what this low-priced 7 seater variant can bring for its buyers in the base format.

Renault Triber RxE is equipped with some decent standard features

On the outside, just like other variants in the range, the front-end of Renault Triber features black grille and even projector headlights. It is not everyday we see a car that comes with project headlight right from the low end grade. However, the base variant lacks chrome inserts on the grille which are featured on the top-spec variant. While the high-end trim is available with stylish dual tone bumper, the entry-level model is equipped with monotone bumper only. Fog lamps and DRLs are also absent on the low-end RxE trim. Coming to the side profile, Renault Triber sports black 14-inch steel wheels and no wheel cover is on the spot. Also, roof rails are available from the RXT trims upwards.

On the inside, the Renault Triber features dual tone dashboard which adds some exciting bits to the interior. On the bright side, the RxE variant comes with a power boot release button, and adjustable headrests for the first and second row. The middle row even gets one touch folding seat function. However, the standard model has to do without dual glovebox, audio system, and cooled glovebox. Instead it sports a single glove box and a cubby hole only. Compared with higher variant, the Renault Triber RxE features the same instrument cluster unit but with less features. Another comfort feature that is missing on the base variant is AC system for the rear seats. In terms of safety features, the low-end RxE comes with some standard features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking. The higher variants are added with side airbags.
