The 1:8 Rolls Royce Cullinan scale model costs a whopping £30,000, which makes it as costly as a brand new full-size Toyota Fortuner
The 1:8 Rolls Royce Cullinan scale model, which is an accurate version of the real-life car, is priced from around £30,000 (around INR 27.8 lakh). With the same amount of money, you can buy the entry-level variant of a brand-new Toyota Fortuner. The Rolls Royce Cullinan 1:18 scale model is manufactured with the utmost perfection and is more than just a ‘mere model’. Carefully and individually crafted by hand, each Cullinan scale model is made from more than 1,000 individual elements. It takes up to 450 hours to finish each miniature Cullinan, which is more than half of the time needed to make a real-life Cullinan at the company’s Goodwood plant in West Sussex. The scale model is also hand-painted and then hand-polished to match the colour and the standards of the real-life car.
The Rolls Royce Cullinan scale model is so carefully hand made that it resembles the real-life model in every detail.
This scale model is so detailed that it resembles the real-life one in even the smallest features. They do not only resemble each other as regards the exterior but when opening the coach doors, you can also realize illuminated treadplates which welcome you to an interior which is executed and designed with the materials, skills and attention to every detail on the real Cullinan. The tiny versions of the hidden in-door umbrellas are also available on any scale model.
Commenting on the scale miniature, Rolls Royce stated,
“From the headrest embroidery and wood finishes to seat piping and stitching, these Bespoke creations allow clients to recreate their full-size vehicle with astonishing accuracy, or even envision future Cullinans to add to their collection.”
Although the British luxury carmaker does not go into details about the real cost of the model, the price is said to range from around £30,000 (around INR 27.8 lakh), which is roughly equal to that of the entry-level variant of a brand-new Toyota Fortuner which costs INR 28.18 lakh. The more modified it is, the higher the price is.
Chief executive at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, said,
“It is not just about the big things: we seek and achieve greatness in everything we do, down to the smallest item and minutest detail.'
Royce Rolls pays attention to not just 'big things" but also to the "smallest item and minutest detail".
While £30,000 (INR 27.8 lakh) is a high amount of money, it is just a fraction of the price of the most extravagant car scale replica created in the world, which is the 1:18 scale Lamborghini Aventador model which is priced at $7.5 million (around INR 57.1 crore). The reason for this exorbitant price is that the model is made from 500 kg block of sold gold and the final product contains 25kg metal Gold edition.
Lamborghini Aventador scale model is the most expensive car scale model ever built in the world.
