Suzuki Swift is quite fun a car to hoot around with. However, this one is giving some tough competition to dirtbike and an ATV on a dirt track.

The Suzuki Swift is one of the few cars sold in the country that connect to the JDM culture. With a few tweaks here and there, one can hone it to the best of its potential. However, even in its stock form, it is quite fun to drive around twisties. Oliver Amon, who is known for his mad drifting skills has also performed various stunts on the Swift. In a new video, he can be seen going flat out on a dirt track in a Swift, while competing with dirt bikes and an ATV. It can be seen in the video below that the car he uses here is a factory-spec Swift with no modifications at all.

The video starts with Amon’s entry on the track and then taking on the competitors. He can be seen driving the Swift with a heavy foot while hardly caring about any damages. Since the car used in the video is bone-stock, it gives up on its underbelly protection much sooner than expected. Amon, however, does not think about easing off the throttle. Instead, the Swift can be seen jumping through the crest and trough on the track. As a result, the front bumper of the bumpers suffers some severe damages.

This video is from Hungary and the Swift sold there is a wee-bit different than what is sold here in India. It is offered with 2 petrol engine options – 1.2L DualJet and 1.0L Boosterjet. The former boasts of a peak power output of 90 PS while the latter belts out 110 PS as its maximum output. Also, it is offered with Suzuki’s AllGrip AWD system as an option in the Hungarian market.

It can be seen in the picture above that the front bumper of the Swift has been damaged.

In comparison to the India-spec Maruti Swift, the Hungary-spec car features a lot more equipment on the inside. It comes with 6 airbags and ESP, which are not offered on the Indian version. In India, Swift is due for a mid-cycle update. With the update, it will get a few cosmetical tweaks on the outside and as well as on the inside. Also, it will get the DualJet engine with the facelift that produces 90 PS of peak power and 113 Nm of max. torque.
