The Altroz iTurbo features a new 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo-petrol motor under its hood, which is capable of developing a peak power output of 110 PS and max torque of 140 Nm. Also, it was expected to come with the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and 6-speed manual gearbox. Sadly, Tata Motors will be offering it with a 5-speed MT only. We can also confirm that the Eco mode button seen on the regular trims of the Altroz is now replaced with a Sport mode button.

The regular trims of the Altroz are offered with two engine options – 1.5L NA petrol and 1.5L turbocharged diesel. The 3-pot petrol motor is good at churning out 86 PS of peak power and 113 Nm of max torque, while the oil burner can produce a rated power output of 90 PS and max torque of 200 Nm. As of now, it is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The Altroz is priced at Rs. 5.44 lakh for the XE trim and goes up to Rs. 9.09 lakh for the XZ+ trim. The iTurbo variants are likely to boast of a slight premium over the regular trims of the Altroz.
