The Tata Altroz is one of the more affordable offerings in the premium hatchback segment and has been selling well recently. Today we came across this white Altroz which gets a set of aftermarket rims. Take a look at it here.

When the Tata Altroz was launched in January last year, the Indian automaker didn’t foresee the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdown. When the lockdown was relaxed around the tail-end of last year, the Altroz got lost in the shuffle a bit with the launch of the all-new Hyundai i20 and the Nissan Magnite quickly becoming the most talked-about vehicles. Since then, the Altroz has bounced back and is currently the best performing vehicle in Tata’s portfolio in terms of sales. Furthermore, Tata Motors has just launched the Altroz iTurbo to take on the likes of the Hyundai i20 turbo and the Volkswagen Polo TSI. Today we came across this Altroz which gets a new set of wheels.

Prices for the Tata Altroz range from Rs 5.44 for the base XE trim and goes up to Rs 8.95 Lakh for the top XZ Option variant. It can be specced with the option of 2 petrol or 1 diesel engine, the first one being a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder unit which makes peak power and torque figures of 83 PS and 113 Nm respectively. The oil burner is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that churns out 90 PS of max power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual.
