Tata Altroz, Nexon Prices Increased - Full Price List

Tata Motors has hiked the prices of Nexon and Altroz, two of its popular models in the local car market. You can refer to the table below for a full price list of the Tata Altroz.

The Tata Altroz XE base variant XE is now priced at INR 5.44 lakh, which is INR 15,000 over the original price of INR 5,29,000. The XM Petrol is now priced at INR 6.3 lakh, recording an increase of INR 15,000 over INR 6.15 lakh. The Altroz XE Rhythm Petrol’s price is increased from INR 5.54 lakh to more than INR 5.7 lakh. The Altroz XT petrol now can be purchased at INR 6.99 lakh, INR 15,000 over INT 6.84 lakh. The XZ Petrol price increase is INR 15,000, which makes the new price stand at INR 7.59 lakh from INR 7.44 lakh. The XZ Option petrol is now priced at INR 7.75 lakh, increased by INR 15,000 from INR 7.6 lakh.

The Tata XE diesel model experiences no price increase, still costs INR 6.69 lakh. The Altroz XM diesel is now priced at INR 7.9 lakh up from INR 7.75 lakh. The XT diesel now costs IRN 8.59 lakh, experiencing INR 15,000 increase from the original price of INR 8.44 lakh. The XZ diesel new price is INR 9.19 lakh from INR 9.04 lakh. The XZ Option diesel price has also increased from INR 9.2 lakh to INR 9.35 lakh, recording an increase of INR 15,000. The XE Rhythm diesel price increase is INR 3,000, from INR 7.24 lakh to INR 7.27 lakh.

The Tata Altroz only experiences an update in the price range, not in terms of features. The hatchback continues to be on sale without any discounts. Note that for the customers who have already booked the Tata Altroz with the finance formalities concluded but registration pending and delivery not scheduled, the price update is still applicable. Because of the insurance premium and registration slabs increase, the price hike can amount to INR 18,000. The price increase takes effect from August 10, 2020. Currently, the petrol version of the hatchback is priced in the range from INR 5.54 lakh to INR 7.80 lakh while the diesel one costs from INR 6.99 lakh to INR 9.49 lakh.

Through the second quarter of 2020, Tata Altroz recorded a sales number of 4,483 units. Currently, the Altroz is offered in more than 20 variants and the Altroz EV is expected to be introduced in the foreseeable future with a driving range of 300 kilometres on a single charge. In July 2020, Tata Altroz sales number was reported to be 3,636 units, which helps the hatchback holding the third position of the top-selling Tata vehicles.

The Tata Nexon XE Petrol is now priced at INR 6,99,900. The Nexon XZ+ DT onward is priced at more than INR 10 lakh. The top-spec petrol XZA+ DT (S) is priced at INR 11.34 lakh. The Nexon XE diesel base variant is priced at INR 8.45 lakh. The Nexon XZ variant onward gets a price of over INR 10 lakh. The top-spec Nexon XZA+ DR (O) variant costs INR 12.7 lakh.
