Tata Altroz is an official partner in IPL 11. In a new IPL commercial, it can be seen taking a jump in the air. Take a look at the video here.

Tata Altroz is one of the best-looking cars from the Indian carmaker. It is registering respectable figures on the sales chart and that's why Tata Motors is not even offering any discount on the Altroz. However, the brand is trying hard to promote and market the Altroz to ensure that these high sales figures remain intact for a longer period. Recently, Tata Motors announced Altroz’s official partnership in IPL 11. Now the brand has also released a new commercial in association with IPL, where the Altroz can be seen jumping in the air.

In this video, Tata Motors has tried to relate the Altroz’s stance with a bowler’s action. Also, the carmaker is focusing on the 5-star Global-NCAP crash-test rating of Altroz in this clip. The Altroz comes with a slew of safety features as standard fitment across the range. The list includes dual-front airbags, front seat-belt reminders, rear parking sensors, high-speed alerts, seat-belt with pre-tensioner and load-limiter, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, collapsible steering column, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

The Altroz is offered with 2 engine options – 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel. The 1.2L 3-cylinder Revotron motor is the same unit that does duties on the Tiago and Tigor. However, it gets an extra balancer shaft here. It belts out a peak power output of 86 PS and rated torque of 113 Nm. The 1.5L diesel engine is a 4-cylinder setup with a turbocharger. It is capable of putting out a peak power and torque output of 90 PS and 200 Nm, respectively. As of now, Altroz is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, but a DCT is expected to be a part of the package soon.
