In its segment, it rivals with the likes of MG Hector and Jeep Compass. Tata introduced the new BS6-complaint Harrier in our market early this year, which employs subtle design and feature upgrades. Now talking about the vlogger, he chose Harrier over MG Hector because the Tata SUV offers better ride quality and comes loaded with many more standard features as compared to that of the Hector. And when it comes to comparing the Harrier with Jeep Compass, the only drawback of the Jeep SUV is that it is slightly overpriced. Moreover, as compared to Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass shorter in dimensions. As per the vlogger, Tata Harrier is a perfect SUV as it looks good, comes loaded with a decent amount of features and has a spacious cabin. Mechanically, it derives power from a 20-litre diesel unit, which puts out power and torque outputs of 170 PS and 350 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed MT or 6-speed automatic transmission.
